Adam D-F. Drama Therapy India (DTI) developed initially as a peer group to build a community of drama therapists in India and take the field forward, is now a 13 member registered Association established in 2022, which aims to keep growing with more trained drama therapists in the country. As drama-therapy awaits legal recognition into the Mental Health Acts of India, DTI members are working relentlessly towards: advocacy of the field, getting legal regulations and recognition for drama-therapy practice across the country, and making drama-therapy training more accessible for Indian students.
